A showcase for young people!

The evening will include drama, music and dance performed by the young people of Taunton
  • Students are working with national company Travelling Light Theatre during half term to create a short play, which you will watch for the very first time!
  • Tavaziva Dance are working with A level dance students to create a new piece of choreography which will be unveiled on the night.
  • We will be treated to a brand-new composition by Joshua Hathaway, (b.1998). He is a clarinettist and pianist studying composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His new work, written especially for us, is called ‘Serenade for Somerset’. It represents the natural landscapes surrounding Taunton and plays with the idea that music can bring people together.
  • The evening will also include a guest performance by Geo – a Heathfield alumni fresh back from a European Tour supporting the Teskey Brothers. Geo has performed across Europe and in the USA and released her first solo album Aura in 2019.
