What shall we call the ArtsTaunton Youth Festival? COMPETITION LAUNCHED!

Youth festival naming competition

ArtsTaunton Youth Arts Festival

2019-2024

Youth Competition 2018 – What would you call the festival?

Arts Taunton would like young people from Taunton Deane aged 10-25 to create a new and exciting name for the new ArtsTaunton Youth Arts Festival. The present working title is too long and lacks excitement, passion and importance.

Young people can take part in this online competition to create a Festival name which reflects the inclusivity of the Arts across Taunton Deane.  We are hoping that this Festival will become a ‘must see’ Youth Arts Festival in the South West, showcasing the best of our young creative talent.  The opportunities will provide a platform where emerging young artists aged 5-25 years old can reveal and share their skills and artistic expression with/to local and visiting audiences.

The festival will encourage talented young participants with individual needs and be inclusive of all socio-economic areas/groups and backgrounds within Taunton Deane.  During the festival there will be various performances and events taking place throughout Taunton Deane engaging with audience members and ensuring the general public also have an enjoyable experience.

Entries from young people aged 10-25 can be submitted via this website by Saturday 20 October 2018 and the on-line entries will be judged by a subcommittee of the Board of Directors of ArtsTaunton.

The winner will be notified by email and letter within 28 days of the closing date.

Good Luck.
