Championing the Arts

We vigorously promote the arts and speak up for investment in them through the media, including social media, through meetings with local Council leaders and through our public meetings. We participated in the Cultural Forum convened by the Somerset West and Taunton Council and in other meetings of local arts organisations.

We were delighted that Dame Judi Dench accepted our invitation to come to Taunton for a fund-raising event for Arts Taunton. ‘An Evening with Dame Judi Dench and Julian Fellowes’ at the Brewhouse Theatre on 2nd November 2022 was a huge success, sold out in a matter of hours and demonstrates that big names will support us if we approach them in the right way.
